Limit Order
The limit order actually indicates the maximum threshold price a certain security might get sold at. So, investors may get involved into the trading system (buy & sell), but always keeping account of the limit order. For example if the price for a certain security is set at $50, if the trader has to respect the limit order, than he may actually pay no more than this set price.
