Trade sizes
What are trade sizes?

Trade size is shown on most trading screens and this gives information to both buyers and sellers displaying the information on how much stock is there to trade. For example if there’s a stock with a particular bid price of $25 and the ask price is 25 ½ and the trade size is 20x10. This means that buyers are willing to pay $25 for twenty blocks hundred of shares at the asking price of $20. And sellers a giving the stock away for the asking price of 25 ½ and they are selling ten blocks of shares of a hundred shares.
